To produce an accessible PR and information hub to move around a neighbourhood informing residents of impending disruption during the installation of fibre optic cable in their area.
The requirement for a vehicle that could house a small exhibition and meeting room, that was fully accessible and be parked in street parking bays, was a major design challenge. The result was a pod that could lift itself off a transport vehicle and come to rest 300mm above the ground level. A ramp provided access into the exhibition that informed residents of the benefits of fibre optic cable, the installation process and any likely disruption. One to one conversations could take place in the meeting room.
