St Kilda Visitor Centre –  Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar

Client Brief: To produce a feasibility study for a remote St Kilda Visitor Centre in the Outer Hebrides recognising its dual World Heritage Site status for its natural and cultural significance.

Equal Approach: Working with Jura Consultants and PagePark Architects, a number of the competing island communities were consulted to discuss their current and historical links with St Kilda alongside their own preferred locations for the new visitor facility. The study assessed the proposed site options, developed outline business plans and interpretive design and content in order to make a definitive recommendation of the most suitable site.

Equal Role: 3d design, technical consultancy
[Team members: Jura, PagePark].
